Why should children die at the hands of preventable diseases like polio when life saving vaccines are available ?
Why not integrate and apply the world’s best technology to the world’s most complex health problems?
At ScaleStation we find ourselves asking these questions on a frequent basis, and concluded that we can play an active role in driving solutions. As technical consultants, we are partnering with impactful global health organizations to make a difference – Unicef, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Clinton Health Access Initiative, the CDC, and the GAVI Alliance.
COLD CHAIN LOGISTICS FOR THE
LIFE SAVING VACCINE SUPPLY CHAIN
In the vaccine world we frequently hear about “The Last Mile” – effectively getting the vaccine supply chain to reach the farthest and most remote places on earth. We are also confronted with the challenging requirements of the “Cold Chain” – where vaccine supplies require constant refrigeration and temperature management.
Each country varies in terms of processes and capability levels, with strengths and weaknesses up and down the chain. It goes without saying that building the global vaccine supply chain is extremely complex.
We work to optimize the system with the development and integration of universal platforms that scale. Systems that can not only solve for the lowest common denominator in areas with severe resource constraints, but can scale to cover entire regions of countries for a global solution.
We are providing cloud based remote temperature monitoring in Haiti for life saving vaccines. In this breakthrough project, we are providing a platform that enables “Fridges to talk” – proactively notifying health officials of temperature spikes or conditions that could potentially compromise the integrity of life saving vaccines.
This system includes a mobile mission control center that enables health officials to collaborate and proactively monitor the environment for maximum efficiencies. Click to learn more about Haiti and“Fridges that Talk”.
The Haiti project is just one example of what can be accomplished, we are partnering with the best minds to scope and devise global solutions for supply chain related projects across the developing world. Contact us to learn more about our services or to request assistance.
